There are three distinct ways to track locations...

1. Using the Web. Every time an employee clocks in or out, we record and IP address. That IP address provides information on its location. To make it even better, we give you the ability to limit employees to specific IP addresses. Using the Web, you can also track by geolocation.

2. Using a time clock. If you use a wall-mounted time, they are named by their location. For example, warehouse, break room, or main office. That location is recorded each time employees clock in or out.

3. Using a landline phone. If employees work at locations with access to landline phones, those phone numbers can be named too. That location will also be recorded each time employees clock in or out.
