Thank you for using Webtimeclock. We hope it helps makes things easier.
To help us both, here are our Terms of Service for using our products. When we say "Company" we are referring to Webtimeclock. When we say "Services", we mean the software products maintained by Webtimeclock. When we say "You", we are referring to the people or organizations that own an account with our services.
We may update these Terms of Service in the future. Typically to clarify existing terms. If we have to make a significant change to our policies, we will make an announcement to our customers.
When you use our Services, now or in the future, you are agreeing to the latest Terms of Service. This includes all existing Services and any future Services offered by the Company. If we do not exercise or enforce any right or provision of the Terms of Service, we are not waiving that right or provision.
In a nutshell, the Company reserves the right to terminate your account if you violate any of the terms. However we rarely use that right.
Account terms
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email address and password. The Company cannot and will not be liable for any loss or damage from your failure to comply with this security obligation. We recommend using two-factor authentication with any service using your email address.
You must be a legal business that does not cause or promote harm. You must be a human. Accounts registered by “bots” or other automated methods are not permitted.
Payments and refunds
Our 15-day trial is totally free. We do not ask for a credit card. At the end of 15 days, we'll create your first invoice based on how many employees you have. If you entered a credit card, will automatically charge it. If not, your company account(s) will be paused until payment is made.
All fees are based on your current number of active team members, based on your selected plan. All fees are exclusive of all taxes, levies, or duties imposed by taxing authorities. In most cases you are responsible for payment of all taxes, levies or duties depending your your locality. If the Company is required to collect sales tax, we will update these Terms.
All payments are non-refundable, however there can be exceptions. Please note we limit refunds to one payment, so please review your account regularly.
Cancellation, pausing, and termination
You are solely responsible for properly canceling your account. To do so, simply remove the billing method from your account BEFORE your invoice date. Once your invoice date is reached, our system will attempt to make payment. If payment cannot be made, your account will be paused and all reports will be locked.
Once an account is paused, it will no longer be on the billing cycle.
Once an account is paused, employees are still allowed to clock in.
Once an account is paused, we keep your data for 3 years. If you need access to historical records, please contact us. We can unpause your account.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of our Services for any reason at any time. We also reserve the right to refuse the use of the Services to anyone for any reason at any time. Historically, this is very rare.
Verbal, physical, written or other abuse (including threats of abuse or retribution) of Company employees or officers will result in immediate account termination.
Uptime, security, and privacy
Your use of the Services is at your sole risk. We provide these Services on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not offer service-level agreements for our Services.
We take many measures to protect and secure your data through backups, redundancies, and encryption.
When you use our Services, you entrust us with your data. We take that to heart. You agree that Webtimeclock may process your data as described on our Privacy Policy and for no other purpose.
